Learning Patience

I know it has been awhile since I posted... I am learning how to be patient.

My best buddy passed away and mom and dad are very sad.  I still look for him when I am on my morning walk.  He was so awesome and I enjoyed him so much.  Mom says we have very fond and wonderful memories of him that comforts us.  He's in heaven playing with my sister, Sadie.

I had to go to the vet and get "fixed".  Boy, I sure hated the cone (see picture) and now I can't go to doggie day care or play with my friends Rocky and Ichabod until this Saturday...What's a girl to do?!  Mom says I am driving her crazy but I have learned some new games for "house-play".  I love to play hide and seek with Mom.  We also play search for the treat (this is my favorite).  I have been able to take short walks but they are not enough to keep me occupied!

I am NOT a cone-head!

Just finishing having some rose-water - Source: E. Porter
I just learned out how to lick water off the roses!  Mom taught me how to smell then and now I lick the water off of them!  It's so awesome.  First I smell the rose then I gently lick off the "rose water".  It is so refreshing in the mornings and after it rains!

I'm having a Paw-ty for my 1st birthday.  I can't wait!  Sue from Bones Du Jour is making the cake and the doggie favors!  I get to see all my favorite humans and my favorite dog buddies!  I'll post pictures after the Paw-ty.
